PS3 Roster Transfer Process

So all of the "how do I do it posts" stop, here is a link to Backbreaker's thread from last year's Madden on the PS3. The first post gives step by step instructions.

Directions for PS3 roster sharing

Did you figure it out? Its pretty simple if you follow the directions posted by backbreaker. I did exactly as he said, went in and copied my roster file from The Show over to my USB, went to my computer and clicked on the PS3 folder, then the SAVEDATA folder, deleted the save, dragged the entire roster file over to my USB drive and was done. Its pretty easy once you figure it out the first time, just make sure you follow the steps perfectly.

reason why, cause i got it too:

the rosters are inside a main folder of the same name.

for example: roster are in "Folder A". Click on "folder A" and there is another "folder B" in "Folder A". Copy folder B out of folder A and then delete folder A.

Then copy the folder B into the PS3/SAVEDATA Folder on your flashdrive and the go back into the ps3. you should be able to copy it into your harddrive now.

also, if you can, download a zip program like winzip or winrar. this helped me not get corrupted files.

Re: PS3 Roster Transfer Process

I am having trouble converting Lan's PS3 rosters to my PS3. I did this fine with the MLB2K rosters. I downloaded the file, dragged the zipped folder to my flash drive, but when I connect the drive to my PS3 it says no data found.

Any idea if this could be done simply by using my PSP mem stick to transfer the save data via the card slot on the front?
