You should really study the Madden ratings to be honest....those ratings are more SIM style than NCAA's ratings.

I apply the Madden ratings formula to the NCAA players and they always make the game play 10x's better than NCAA's default rosters....I think the reason for that is because EA actually sits downs and spend more time breaking down the player ratings in Madden and they nail the tendency a lot better.

For example in Madden I've studied those ratings for the past 5-6 years and EA very rarely gives a small player some crazy 80 strength and 80 break tackle ability.....yet in NCAA you have a great amount deal of players who are like 5'8-6'0 weighing like 175-200 lb's and they rated 80+ in break tackles

Those are power back ratings IMO.....yet NCAA applied those kinda weird ratings to half the players on the roster.

I don't think i'll have that problem because I keep my Alumni rosters seperate from the Regular rosters....I just use different profiles to keep them apart plus i don't like current players in todays game on my Alumni teams.

One thing I would reccomend you do is utilize the actual combine #'s as much possible for speed and acceleration because if you stick the actual combine #'s you will see great seperation between the fast players and slow players on the rosters.

This is what I'm doing more of this year I'm taking combine numbers from this scouting report for all players from the last 10 years and then applying them using the following speed chart.

So for example whenh I create Ian Johnson of Boise St his speed is 87 and not 92 like EA rated him in NCAA 10. The link will pull up players from each school which makes it quicker and easier to research guys.

Good speed chart. Gonna incorporate. I have tkaen down speed on every team that I have done so far. EA NCAA ratings are poor @ best.

Good advice: going to keep my alumni file separate also. too much work goes into it to have it messed up.

Not sure you are understanding what Im saying though. It had nothing to do with current players on my alumni roster file (which I dont do either anymore): what it was was my alumni roster file being somehow corrupted to revert back to a default file with the exception of names. Very odd. Interesting though today all is good so far. Plus the editing is going faster than it was yesterday (there were some odd delays when opening a player to edit as well as when moving from field to field within the editor). Seems faster today after I deleted that roster file I DL'd. Dont think Im going to be DL ing any more rosters anytime soon. PLus I am now backing up my alumni file to one of those portable memory units.

This game is truly amazing once you fix up the players the right way....I'm going to have a beast roster file this year. Can't waite to create Tommy Frazier again he's going to run that Option sick as hell

Create a dummy profile on TB for all the alumni teams and I'll be able to input the ratings for you this year

Finally done with sliders and I'm now starting this project way early this year.

My 1st team update with changes is Air Force (Post 12, page 2)

Impact Players were switched do to the changes on the default rosters this year by position.
