Oh Hai, ltns hope all is well! I love 0 too, I like that it feels a little more open and allows more big plays here and there.

After playing a few games and comparing it with footage of real games I think I've reversed my opinion on it. DBs tend to catch up to receivers and runners in general just because of how close they are in speed on average. It's only the fastest players (95 and up) that can burn everyone on the field. I've found that I like this balance a lot.

I've been getting used to QBA at 5 too and liking it a lot. With a few adjustments here and there these sliders are perfect for me.

Can't say I like lowering the threshold lower than 25 though. It seems to me that past 25 speed becomes the only stat that really matters, and I prefer the coverage and receivers to be similar in speed and get open or covered based on their other ratings.

First page, in the spoilers. Keep in mind they were used as a base at the time (4 years ago).

I remember 4 verts being way too easy on this game does qb acc at 5 decrease the completion pct to a realistic rate? Or do you all who have been playing recommend removing them? Thanks for any feedback and great work on these sliders!!

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

Is anyone else having some issues nailing the run game down? I usually work with these settings for running:

USER
RB Ability: 40
Run blocking: 5

CPU
Rush Defense: 10
Tackling: 45

The real issue is with the power inside run game. Under these settings user run blocking just isn't strong enough to hold off the D-linemen and they start to miss obvious blocks. Raising it to 10 allows for much more effective blocking but then the spread option scheme becomes out of control overpowered. Like 450 rushing yards and 7 TDs per game crazy.

I'd like to be able to play as LSU and get good yardage regularly running up the middle with Fournette, but not get wildly over the top when playing as Oregon. Is there a way to balance this or is the option just naturally too overpowered?

It's hit or miss I would say. Sometimes it's just a money play though and the CPU becomes too aggressive with their playcalling.

A couple options here:

1. You can raise the CPU tackling to like 55 or 60, but will start to see some WWE tackles, and less gang tackling.

2. You can lower Offsides from 99 gradually till the defensive line stops shedding blocks as easily.

3. Increase the threshold from 25 to like 30 or 35. This will help the shedding, but as we know threshold controls a lot more than just collisions, it will affect speed dispersion and ball awareness animations, etc.
