Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

Just finished my first game as TAMU against Rice with the new Community Rosters with Run Block edit. Solid game, CPU ran all over me with the read option. Human running game was tough. CPU missed about three field goals though so I might raise the CPU FGA by a click.

The reason I ask is that in my dynasty I am Air Force (running pro style O not triple option), and I am averaging about 2.0 a carry against similar competition. The D line gets so much penetration that I can make one cut and then I'm tackled. Against better than me competiton (Boise St) my RB at one point had 13 carries for 12 yards.

Just curious about how our experiences with similar overall teams are so drastically different.

I am using the latest test sliders and OL edits to 55.
I found the same thing happen when I edited the oline. It seemed that as soon as the ball was snapped I had several dlinemen in my backfield before I even got the ball. Running was nearly impossible early in the game...probably the first 7-10 running plays ...but became easier as the game went on after sticking with it.

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

I just want to make it challenging on myself and get close to accurate stats without overdoing it. For example Air Force sucks now but after a few yrs of recruiting I could be getting higher rushing totals and I don't want to have to re-lower the edits again.

I probably will try it at 60 and see how it goes.

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

I got a question and I'm hoping someone can answer it for me.

I want to play as The OC. I am looking for a set that I can play as The OC and then let the cpu control the defense for my team.

I didn't know if I could do these with these sliders. If so I need to know what I set as my defensive setting. (example: My defense which is controlled by the CPU vs The CPU Offense which is controlled by the CPU.)

If these sliders are not for that could someone point me in the right direction? THX!

Mrnice, i play the same way this year and last. make sure you sim play by play. dont watch plays and dont skip till on field. the results will vary greatly this way and mostly the drives for cpu are very short. if you sim play by play you will get a much better result from them. i dont however feel the sliders matter when doing this. i did last year but no now as i have always had it on heisman but tried some different options on sliders and i didnt see a difference. so i think your all good to put these in as they are if you sim play by play when your on D.
