Question about slider that affects tackling

I have used many different sliders and now have a combination of sliders that works great for my skill set vs. the computer.

I am an offline dynasty player only. I need help in finding what slider affects the player in the open field tackling. Sometimes I will get a one on one in the open field, and I can never get by the computer player without being tackled.

Can someone help me find the right slider to adjust being able to juke the computer in the open field?

I'm not a heavy slider tinkerer but I would think speed threshold, or the aggresive conservative ratings might play a substantial role in that. But I have not put in a lot of time into slider development so it is just an educated guess at best.

Re: Question about slider that affects tackling

You'll want to look at CPU Tackle slider vs HUM Running Back Ability slider, to start.

The more you lower TAK the worse the defender performs and less effective his tackling is in relation to his rating.

The higher you raise RBA the more effective ball carrier moves become in relation to their ratings.

Lower TAK to 0 and even 5 star defenders will be brushed aside one on one more often than not.

Raise RBA to 100 and even 1 Star pocket passing QBs will shift and a shimmy all over the place, as a ball carrier, when controlled by the CPU.

I have no idea what your sliders are set at right now, so another thing to consider is whether or not your running back has any stamina left by the time he gets to the open field situation. If you're in he habit of jamming on RT/R2 right after getting the ball then you have the two-fold issue of your ball carrier possible be out of energy for football moves by the time he gets to the one on one situation and the defenses Pursuit being kicked into high gear at moment of sprint/turbo use.

I've been using 25 tackling in my games and it's been giving me a pretty good balance so far. If you're already at or around 25, try upping it one step at a time and testing to see if that helps.
