This pretty much sums up my experience with the game so far. After about 9 games played, I just gave up on the lack of defense. Reminded me a lot of their feature a few years back called " Wide Open Gameplay " , which translated into having zero defense.

Recruiting and the CC dont bother me much, but the lack of a defensive presence and the computer not being able to mount any sort of a running game again hurts the overall experience.

Yeah. 4 verts pretty much breaks cover 2, by design.

The rest of it was solid, though. I remember him pointing out some issues with the alignment and zone play using the demo.

It seems that this game is just so broken. From the core. Most gamers won't notice or care about some of these issues. But for people that truly love the sport these things stick out.

Yeah, gonna chalk that up to user error. 4 vs 2 = advantage offense.

I know that we'll never get an answer, but I would love to hear why they've chosen to leave the CPU QB and RB A.I. such a mess for so many years in a row now. For this to be such a low or non existent priority for the development team, is very disheartening.

Didn't we all know what we were getting anyway? I wasn't expecting this magical fix all. Especially this late in the console generation. I think there are some nice upgrades and I think I will have fun with the game. But in the end I know I will not be playing a GREAT game of football. I know there will be a lot of issues that will go unfixed this gen. I know its not right, but I have accepted it. I knew that a long time ago.
