"0" Sliders (Claystone)

I'm trying out my "0" slider settings like i did with 2k5 and NCAA09. I'm keeping everyone at an even playing field. So far it's turning out to be a good game, running and passing. I will post my game stats when finished with each game.

I have all human and cpu Offense & Defense set to "0". Everything at "0".

Special Team is set to default except FG which i have at 100.

The running game is looking more realistic.

8/18/08 EDIT: After playing all my games i decided to raised the RBA to 45/45. If you look at my Texans Dynasty thread the running game is the only thing lacking. Which allowed my Texans to beat good team because they had no running game. I'm testing this in coach now since my Texans dynasty froze and is lost now.

Re: "0" Sliders (Claystone)

I thought about doing that but never got the chance to test it, im thinking some def sliders affect the offense to like break block, knockdowns and int lowered might help the passing % as they prolli wouldnt get beat going for a pick or knockdown....im curious to see wat u get.......

Re: "0" Sliders (Claystone)

Guys, so far the game is playing out nice and only 1 fumble so far in the game. I'm at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Texans 7
Pit 0

The running game is on par.

Question: Aren't you lowering the stats and effectiveness of all the players that SHOULD be catching well, running well, defending well? Trying to understand how it's more realistic.

Well, if they are getting realistic stats then I guess it works. Effectiveness will be thrown out the window if it will result in constant unrealistic stats.

My next game is against the Ravens. I going to start HB: J. Jones for the first half and then sub in HB: R. Rice in the second.

I will post game #2 Raven vs Texans next.
