MVP NCAA '07 better than '06?

I just recently picked up MVP NCAA '06 and I love it. They didn't have '07 at the used game store that day but is it worth picking up if they ever get a copy? From what I read it adds more teams, stadiums, and a new pitching mechanic. I've also read the batting camera is wonky for taller hitters where you can't see the plate. What do ya'll think about it?

Doesn't look too terrible. I hardly ever use my PS2 anymore and have an abundance of baseball games but this might be worth a couple of bucks.

07 has rock and fire pitching which is very close to The Shows analog pitching system. I liked 07 a lot.

Analog pitching is broken (pitch speeds get messed up with it) so it's useless. You probably won't find any good rosters for '07 as I don't remember there ever being any here, but you may for '06. Otherwise you get new teams and a couple new stadiums. If you don't care about rosters get '07 because it's the same or better except analog pitching which wasn't in '06 anyways so that one's a wash. Good rosters to me would be worth a lot more than anything '07 adds.

Get the 2006 XBOX version, hack system then mod game (mvpmods.com)

I preferred 06 because 07's analog pitching felt way off, and you could only sometimes see home plate while batting. 06 didn't have either one of these issues from what I recall. Haven't played either one in a couple years though.

I liked 06 more than 07 too for the same reasons. 06 was like MVP 05 but with more polish. 07 felt a bit off.

Yep, the 2006 Xbox version is the best by far. 2007's analog controls just had too many issues.

I have both for the PS2 but don't play 07 anymore. There's a 5-7 mph difference (slower) when pitching using Analog compared to the classic controls, plus all the default rosters for 07 were just recycled from 06 and moved to a different team.

Not to mention the multiplayer in 07 was garbage due to the on screen indicator for the analog pitching couldn't be removed.
