Agreed. It would be great if true. WBC feature and possibly brining it to PS4 would be amazing. I hope there's some truth to the article. Really odd that if it's true there hasn't been more info as we are a month or so from when they usually release the title.

I've been watching Play Asia for a pre-order page since the rumors started surfacing.

It's concerning that they dropped most of their baseball related sponsorships. They used to be the sponsor for the Japan Series which was taken over by SMBC banking corp in 2014.

They also were a big WBC & Samurai Japan team sponsor. Currently there is no mention of Konami on either website, but they are listed on NPB's home page.

If there's going to be a game they need to promote it. On Konami's News page they are bragging about the millions of DL's of their new Power Pro mobile soccer game. That platform seems to be their big interest now but I hope I'm wrong.
