    ID- Star players underperforming?

ID- I play 9 min qtrs- All star, speed- default, steals all the way down, 2ptrs- down 1. I plays as the Sonics and Gary Payton (who I've since traded to keep the rosters accurate) couldn't hit anything but a lay in or very occasional three. No 15 footers- nothing. I saw on here somebody saying they had the same type of thing w/ Finley. I was just wondering if others are having these type of issues w/ "star" players? Also, does anyone hit any fadeaways or step backs with any regularity?

I usually find it's way too easy to score with the star players in ID (especially GP). I find this game does get a bit easy like all others but it can still shock you every now and then and you'll lose one.

As triplej96 said i have my sliders down two notches for field goals and i still shoot too high a percentage. I seem to struggle from three sometimes though...........

I am playing with Milaulke now and GP is averaging 21 and 9.

How do you use guys? You need to play pretty similar to their real life selves. ie, post GP up a lot and cut off screens and drive to the hoop a lot.

Look at his real life stats...GP isn't a longe range shooter. He can hit three, but not regularly.

I can hit some long range J's with GP, but I need him to be open.

Post him up...the 'roll to the hoop and lay up' move he has is sweeeeeet!

I have some trouble hitting fades and step backs. And I don't know about shooting them while being open cause they're shots designed to be shot in traffic...
