I am in a SIM league for FBPro. I am in the USAFL which is the first SIM League on the main FBPro-online.com page.

Oh I remember FBPro very well. I had 96, 97, 98, and the bugged 99. I loved that series and the baseball series also. Many, many hours spent on these games. 99 had a number of great ideas, but the execution was horrible. The fact that it was released in the condition it was in was the nail in the coffin for the Front Page Sports/Sierra Sports series.

I was in one called "ONAFA". Sadly, I only got two years in (first year took a rebuilding team to the playoff with heavy run game, including using an option-style offense and hard-hitting defense), before the commish couldn't keep up.

The league used to give out real-life trophies to award winners and the champs. I won Coach of the Year (both for the performance and the weekly write-ups I did on my team), and he had planned to send me my trophy, but he couldn't before he had to shut everything down

We used the VPNFL plans and ratings ranges (which is why I think that idea would be very viable and strong for Madden) and I made individual gameplans so we could use who we wanted as KR/PR without screwing up our depth charts.

Sadly, my team fell apart due to cap in the second year from the previous owner so I was in the midst of re-rebuilding (4-12 in the last completed season)

This was my roster:

*sigh* brings back memories
