I seem to remember that 15 only supported keyboard and mouse. Is that the same for this version, or have they added controller support?

You can use a controller now. I use an Xbox1 controller to play it

It's just like any other FB game as far as playing it. User v CPU, User v User, and coach mode.

It has franchise mode too

Thoughts on the release version of the game? I'm hoping to get it soon but was looking to see how this board thought the game has improved.

Also, is modding like last year or is there some sort of in game roster to edit?

Thanks for your interest in Axis Football!

Modding is improved a bit this year, as we've made it easier to swap out teams so you can put in NFL or NCAA mods. They are created already and can be found on links pinned in the Steam Discussion or through in-game links.

Franchise mode has expanded from season mode last year. It's still a basic implementation (multiple season, franchise options, franchise stats, view schedule functionality, etc), but we are adding in depth chart management and a few other features as updates this year.

If you're on the fence about the game, I'd like to encourage you to check it out. We reinvest our revenue back into the game, which can hopefully be seen in the improvements we've made from last year.
