I tend to go by class year, if they have the extra redshirt year, their age, size and "potential" rankings. If not knowing much about the college team, using class year and size typically works out pretty accurately.

well there is a HUGE community in getting current rosters for NCAA football 14. one could download the roster, current year is finished yet but always updating, and start off with those ratings and info. albeit it's a lot of work, but nobody said it wasn't. at least it's a start.

Most recent build. Game now has animated crowds, updated broadcast display featuring player specific references with the drive summary.

Original stadiums will be kept in the game as it is a bit taxing on the CPU with the crowds. A domed stadium has also been included.

This is very close to the release build. Prior mods will not work in dome stadium.

It's a good start. The commentary could flow better, but that's minor in my book. The bigger thing for me is play execution. So far, its reminding me of QB club back in the day, where it was very difficult to run plays correctly due to missed blocks, poor design (IE RB doesn't run toward the hole), sloppy routes, and missed passes. I'm sure this will be improved a lot though!

There is a very reasonable excuse: funding. It's hard to compete with something like Madden right off the bat when EA has 100000x the funding to put into a game, along with 20+ years of overall development at this point.

I expect any new game to be a bit behind in most aspects. Graphics, physics engine, features, etc. If it's fun and sells well, THEN I expect it to compete, once there is more money behind it.

I'm not asking it to compete with Madden but if you going have customization I feel a play creator should be in it..
