As shot-stoppers go, Germany and Italy both currently have loads of talented young goalkeepers. Perin is considered to be one of Serie A's best prospects. The 21-year old possesses good size for the position and elite level reflexes. Seen as one of the new breed of Italian goalkeepers with the likes of Simone Scuffet and Nicola Leali, Perin may be the best shot stopper of the three. Perin may be the leader of a new generation of keepers, and BVB could use him to replace the aging Roman Weidenfeller.
