I was just watching some old clips of Bulls vs. Pistons games and was reminded of all the sweet Bulls shooters.

John Paxson
BJ Armstrong
Steve Kerr

How in the world are basketball fans not going to buy NBA 2k11??!!? There are just too many opportunities to play with basketball gold. Can't wait to play with even the role players in this game...

Haha, my buddy and I were just talking about how we're more excited to hit some daggers with Kerr before even playing with Pippen, The Bad Boys, etc. LOL.

I think I'm more excited to just play with some teams that shoot well. It seems like now days there are so many teams that have dunkers and "slashers" but not a ton of teams that can shoot. I miss the whole era of basketball that is coming to 2k11...It will be sweet to play with those guys.

they're just one-dimensional guys who'll have a 3PT icon. not a big deal to me. they should be about as fun as playing with eddie house, once u sober up from the 90s Juice

Gotta agree with one of the previous posters though, Kukoc was the man! Lookin forward to playin with Rodman too, he's probably going to have a 99 in rebounding.

I'm curious to see if they captured Cartwright's shot properly. He had one of the goofiest shots in the history of the NBA.

People also forget about Jud Buecheler.

I was surprised to find out that Paxon shot only 25% from 3 during the 1991 Finals, yet scored 13.4 ppg. Hodges was even worse - 16.7% from 3.

No wonder MJ had to shoot and 55.8 FG% (50% from 3).

The early 90's Bulls weren't a 3pt shooting team, that's why. They didn't take many 3pt shots. John Paxson burried the Lakers from his spot up medium-range jump shots during the 1991 NBA finals.

Let's not forget about Bobby Hansen in 1992. He was a very good shooter and role player (Jud Buechler was a poor man's version of him :)).

Steve Kerr's shots are like automatic...that's how i remember him. Every time he shoot...and if it doesn't go in...you'll just be shocked. Of course it helps playing under MJ. If it's not for MJ, i think Steve Kerr is a below average player.

All of the Bulls shooters from the 90's were good at what they did because of the offensive system the team had, which allowed them to have great looks and be fed by the play-making of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

Don't forget about Trent Tucker either. I know he was older than dirt in '93, but I believe I ripped it up with him in Bulls vs Blazers and The NBA Playoffs (IIRC).

Yep. Trent tucker was brought in in 92-93 to replace Craig Hodges who retired after 91-92.

Nope, Long Beach State is were he played college Basketball. He's an assistant coach for the Lakers.

Not quite so. Paxson, Hodges, Tucker and Armstrong were very decent passers and decent defenders too. B.J. was quick and could drive to the hole when he wanted to...Pax could also drive and finish on the break despite not being a fast player.

Buechler, Hansen and Kerr were die hard shooters.

Funny you guys mention the Sonics. I would LOVE to play as Shawn Kemp when he was dominating in the 90's. In his prime, he was probably (along with Dominique Wilkins) the best dunker in NBA history, hands down. Really hope he's in the game!

Yeah, but seems like they weren't smart enough to tell readers that he's not the coach of that college. I mean, if you don't know about his job with the Lakers (like I didn't know), you'd assume that he's a college coach now.
