I like these ratings. Previous years ratings were way too generous.

I like that there's not a lot of 90+ rated players.

These ratings are looking good. Can't really disagree with anything here

Bradley Beal severely underrated compared to some of these guys. Derozan is pretty much on the same level to me. Kobe & Dwade are where I expected them to be, not necessarily how I think they should be rated though. Nice to see Jimmy B get some love.

This is a great list honestly. Since there aren't many greats SGs at this time, it makes sense.

Ahhh Oladipo is top ten. Good news for me and MyLeague

Bigman101 09-18-2015 01:18 PM

I'll still say harden is more of a must player than curry. They both should be 93. Then the attributes should tell u the differences so u can pick what type a 93 u want.

Until you progress a year or two in my league and all of that possibly gets thrown out the window.

These are all pretty much on point. I don't think there's that much of a gap between harden and Thompson/Butler though. But that's just being nit picky. Great list.

Klay so overrated

Purple Jesus 28 09-18-2015 01:26 PM

I rate Middleton over beal. The kid is such an underrated 3 and D player

ksuttonjr76 09-18-2015 01:27 PM

Klay Thompson? I normally REALLY don't care about overall ratings, but I would think that Jimmy Butler would be the better player. Granted, I didn't watch that many games, but I wasn't expecting that.

His rating is high, but I can see the rationale behind it. Klay is one of the best two-way guards in the league so him being solid all-around helps his overall rating. Same thing with Jimmy Butler.

U have to be kidding, beal was a top 10 player last playoffs and as well as in the 2014 playoffs. injuries have hurt his season performances but he still shows up when needed. one season does not make middleton better than him

kingmonkeyman33 09-18-2015 01:35 PM

Great list. The 2k ratings so far this year have been pretty on point.

Whoa, Klay's rating is a bit too high for a guy who only score 5 points in the last game of the finals(even though he did hit a huge 3 late in the game).

Middleton over Demar for sure who I think 10 SGs are better than him

Curious to see what Middleton's rating is/if he's listed as a SG. I'm surprised he didn't make the top 10 if he is in fact a SG in the game, which he should be.

About right for a guy who has scored more points in one quarter than any other nba player ever has.

Re: NBA 2K16 Player Ratings - Top 10 Shooting Guards

FYI Middleton spent most of his minutes at the SF this year bit also played SG and PF a lot.

He could be an SF.

And I certainly hope he is. Kid is a defensive beast. So underrated.

Klay is overrated in real life as well. So many thinking he's around the same level as Harden or even better and this supposed awesome defender. Don't get me wrong, he's very good, but he's no MJ.

Re: NBA 2K16 Player Ratings - Top 10 Shooting Guards

Smh at JJ Redick or Kyle Korver not on that list because they are percoeved as "shooters".

Both of them are above average to good defenders, and good secondary passers.

He actually played almost exclusively at SG with some spot minutes at SF; about 86% of his minutes came at SG to be exact.

I agree with this one a lot more than the PGs,

Can't put that much stock into a few games from the playoffs. Beal was above average during the regular season (great in playoffs) and Klay was great in the regular season (above average in playoffs).

Klay, Bryant, and Derozan are the ones that jump out at me as being too high.

Overall great list, though

They should be equal, so it's not crazy for someone to think Butler is better.

I thought they would have the same rating, but a point difference either way is nothing to clamor over. They're not too far off from each other.

(Klay vs Butler)

No they shouldn't. Klay is a far better shooter and more efficient scorer than Jimmy Butler. Both are good defenders. Also unlike Jimmy Butler last year wasn't Klay's only good season.

James Harden's rating is false, compared to the best players of all time. He should be a 89-90

Well the most recent season does have the biggest impact on ratings so...

And that's just fine if Klay is a better shooter. Butler is much better off the dribble and attacking the basket. Just look at the difference in free throw attempts.

You can't say Klay's better just because he shoots better from 3. I also disagree about Klay. Last year was his first good season. He was slightly above average before last season.
