PS4 or XBone version
 

Hi, I am planning on buy console for 2k17 but which one? Which version of game you guys would recommend? I am tired of pc version and hacks and cheaters there.

It's gonna be basically the same regardless of which console you pick. The real question is whether or not you care about console specific exclusives.

Wherever your friends are, they are pretty much identical on either system. I've had both for 2K16 and noticed pretty much no difference whatsoever.

Just cant decide between of two. Friends are mostly on pc:google: Which console would you guys recommend? I heard that ps4 have better exclusives.

I personally like the PS4 and all the things they tried to do with the UI. I like the exclusives and a lot of times the free games offered for having PS+, which is required for online play, are either decent, or retail for $30 (For example, 2k16 was free recently. And I mean like literally full game free for just paying for the service you need to have to game online).

That being said: All of this is personal preference. Look at what games you think look cool, see what system they are for. If you think a lot of XBOX only games appeal to you, get an XBOX. If you think you like the PS4 exclusive titles, get that. There's enough unique IPs for both systems by now that you can do a little bit of research and form your own opinion.

I love my PS4, but I'd hate for someone to get it because I liked it, and have them end up regretting it.

Well I like xbox controller but I like more ps4 exclusives. I have never used dualshock 4, is it true that xbox controller is much better?

I prefer PS4 because it has a much larger community of custom roster makers than XB1.

all up to personal preferences, if you like the exclusives of ps4 better get the ps4

Dualshock 4 is the best Playstation controller ever and I'd say it's better than the xbox 360 controller.

I think I like the xbox one controller slightly better but I also have the Gamestop exclusive lunar white controller which has extra rubber grip on the back that adds to the overall look feel and comfort.

In terms of console I like the ps4 more. Not exactly sure why but I find myself having a bias towards it. I mostly use my Xbox for two things: exclusives and EA Access. Honestly if it wasn't for EA Access I'd consider trading in the console. I think that program is well worth the $30 a year.

Depends if end of game highlights are important to you. If so, then Xbox.

I play on a 4K tv and have the Xbone S so Xbox all the way for me. Plus I prefer the controller. I really wish it had Spotify tho

If you want end of the game highlights get it for X1. If you don't care about that get it on PS4. That's pretty much what it boils down to.

i had it on both last year, started on ps4 then moved to Xbox one because thats where my most of my friends are. the controls are certainly more responsive in 2k along with the better free games, online service, and controller i would say Xbox one but its really up to you.

I have both systems. I started in the 360, then went to ps4, then added the one after. Thought I'd never get used to ps4 controller but now I massively prefer it. 2k seems to play slightly laggy to me on Xbox when compared to the 4. If you buy vc get the one as they have more sales and xb gold gives a permanent discount on the top vc package.

If I could only keep one I'd choose the ps4. That said, I do have the one s on Fifa pre-order!

The Xbox One S will be using the HDR function for 2k17 according to a source. If this is the case and you have a suitable 4k tv it should look better on the One.

My experience is that it affects both the halftime and end of the game highlights. I won't be buying 2k basketball for the playstation ever again until 2k finds a solutin to the problem. Secondly, considering the XBOX Scorpio isn't going to come out this year, I'm going to pass on 2k17. I'll watch youtube video for my NBA2k17 fix this year. 2k16 still plays a good game of basketball.

I think you don't get them if you play anything above 8 minutes quarters.

I've played nba 2k16 on both the xbox1 and ps4 and, if you're buying a console mainly for this game, I'd rec'm the xb1. For me, better menu organization and UI, better internet structure and way better internet performance, faster load times, and better competition. This is just my personal view and experience, but to me PS4's nba 2k16 felt like a community of guys who play RPG's who just wanted to try a sports game. Had a much harder time finding decent players to run with.

I would get in arguments with dudes in pro am 'cause I had the outrageous strategy of knowing how to rotate on defense instead of blindly chasing an arrow for who to guard lol. Maybe I just didn't find the right group, but it seemed to be a microcosm of the overall gameplay on ps4.

Hmm I was thinking to get bundle with uncharted collection and last of us remastered. I think ps4 have better exclusives. I am indecisive.

It's the same mostly trash community on every systems, that's for sure. Guys who buy PS4 aren't any different than guys who buy Xbox one.

Go PS4 since they actually show who your opponent is controlling on defense. Why do they refuse to add this on Xbox?

I have a PS4 and XB1 and here's my Pros and Cons list for PS4.

Pros for PS4
PS4 has historically gotten patches much sooner than XB1
PS4 has Spotify
I like the PS4 community's rosters better
All of my friends are on PS4 (in case I decide to play in an MyLeague Online)

Cons for PS4
The Highlight Issue

Even though there's really only that one con for me, I'm still strongly considering the XB1 version because I'm tired of dealing with the highlight issue year after year.
