What a win over the Suns. If Detroit plays like that every game I don't think any1 can stop 'em. Hope they can keep it up :)
GO PISTONS!

Tough road win last night. Dyess man with another big double double. Great to see such a class guy overcome the injuries. He is creeping up on a double double for the season, while shooting 50%. His rebounding has improved this year and that will be key down the stretch. This guy deserves a ring.

I didn't understand the Nuggets switching Melo on Dice early in the game. I know this was mainly done to allow Melo to conserve more energy from defending Tay to use on the offensive end, but Dice didn't have much trouble boxing him out as opposed to boxing out K-Mart.

Pistons to sign Ratliff

LOS ANGELES -- The Pistons are about to land the veteran big man they've coveted -- and his name isn't Dale Davis.

The Minnesota Timberwolves placed veteran center Theo Ratliff on waivers Thursday night and have agreed to buy out the remainder of his $11.6 million contract.

If Ratliff clears waivers in the next 48 hours -- which is almost a given with his salary -- he will sign with the Pistons for the prorated amount of the veteran's minimum ($1.3 million).

Ratliff, 34, was drafted by the Pistons in 1995. He has only played 12 games the last two years, but he is healthy now.

He played in the last 10 games with the Timberwolves, averaging 6.3 points and 3.9 rebounds.
