I dunno about that. There are some gaming PCs that would easily run Madden just as well (maybe better) than a PS3 or 360.

No doubt. But not enough people own those PCs or are willing to shell out the cash to buy the PC and the game.
Only supreme hardcore guys.
And that equals not enough sales for EA Sports.
