Newbie questions
 

Just got the game yesterday, had a blast playing last night. I am brand new to the game, haven't played a basketball game since sega genesis back in the day. Have a few questions.

1. Is there a more detailed manual than what comes with the game?

2. I did dynamic update, then went to tournament more. The seedings seemed to be from last years tournament. Any way to have them set to current standings/projections?

Another question...

I have downloaded a roster file with player names. I would like to use this roster to play through the regular season schedule with my team and try to make the tourney.

Do i go in this order?

load roster>
dynamic update>
setup dynasty

it seems that i tried this last night and wound up with no player names when the dynasty started

Look in the dynamic update thread, there's some talk of that in here. I think I read that you need to get the update first, then the rosters, but don't quote me on that.
