UFC Chief, Dana White, Backs Off Threat To Ban Fighters, Still Loathes EA

Kotaku has the scoop.

Quote:

"White revealed that he is backing off his earlier threats to ban any fighter who appears in EA's game to be a part of UFC. "Nah, some people have crossed over," he told Kotaku, "But believe me this is still going to continue to be a battle. ...they're the me-toos. The UFC game is the original game."

I don't always like what White says but sometimes he says things that are spot on. Calling EA the "me-toos" is exact.

From what I understand, there was a change of personnel at EA, and with that change came someone more open to MMA; so I'm not sure he's right on at all. More like he was dealing with the wrong people at the wrong time, unfortunately.

This. If someones making money, EA wants to be a part of it.

I just think him making things so personal is unprofessional. EA is a business who felt that a MMA game wasn't worth it before, and now they feel differently. That happens all the time in business.

Maybe it was even his personality that turned them off.
