Using USB to transfer rosters for 360?

Does anyone if you can transfer the roster file to your Xbox 360 using a USB? I was reading on another site that someone did it but the instructions were not that good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It won't let me type in the link so all you do is go to google and search "yahoo answers nfl 2k5 rosters" and it is the first link.

I don't think he ever did it. I always thought that USBs did not work with original XBOX games.

I tried what that guy said for that answer and I couldn't finish it because xploder resigner would not let me sign in. So I guess I will need to get a transfer cable for it to work. Would you happen to know if they are still free?

I tried that once and couldn't get past some guy from Detroit that was a real jerk.

My understanding is that USB flash drives cannot be used for backwards compatability on 360. Those, obviously, are stored in a different partition. I haven't tried to transfer an original XBox game save to a USB yet, but my assumption is that you can't.

And it's too bad because my XSATA device is a real hassle, and using that thing scares the crap out of me. I have a ton of saved data on my HDD drive, and I really don't like hardwiring that thing to my PC and fiddling around in there if I don't have to. Plus, the XSATA is awkwardly constructed, and I'm having real problems just physically getting it connected.

But I need to figure something out b/c I think I'd like to play 2k5 again.
