NBA Jam to Possibly Feature Online, Released Before Holidays, Much More (PS3, 360)
The local sports radio station in Toronto, FAN 590, has a video game show every weekend called Got Game, and today they aired an interview with NBA Jam's Creative Director Trey Smith. Listen to the podcast, right here. The interview starts at 15:40. They talk about various topics including licensing, selection process of the roster, and Remix tour (length of Remix Tour is 38 hours at the minimum!). At the end (25:50) he had this to say about the next gen versions: Quote:
Kotaku has contacted an EA Sports Canada representative for comment. |
Not quite sure what the story is. We've known the HD version will have online for months, and remix tour as an add on to the HD version was inevitable.

Its a shame they won't update the rosters. When you only get 3 or 4 guys, its a harder pill to swallow when one of them isn't even on the team anymore.

This just sucks...with the Walmart deal and the BB trade-in...I had NBA Jam down to $10. At best, this will be a $50 game...most likely $60. All I wanted was online.
