Translating the Best Japanese Baseball Games into English (Pro Yakyuu Spirits Series)

Not many Americans know about Pro Yakyuu Spirits Baseball. Why? Because it's a Japanese baseball game and a lot of people are too lazy to weed through the menus to get a game going. Based on feedback from our Other Baseball Games Forum, the series is the best, baseball has to offer. Check out the Spirits Translation website, which translates the Japanese text in the game, into English. If you are patient, you will be surprised at just how deep this game is. |
To borrow a line from the great Sammy Sosa:
It's so real! Awesome-looking game. |
Maybe Americans don't care for Japanese baseball, not lazy?
|
the animations are definitely not as smooth but it does seem to be physics based...pretty cool
|
is this only for PS3? if so, thats a bummer. It looks really good and probably the most simulated baseball game ever?

The following year it was moved over to PS3, and has found a home on that system ever since. Sad, cause I really liked to play it over xbox live.....on the PS3 (for whatever reason) Konami shuts down online play for previous year games once the new one releases. |
