I'm on the phone and each time I click on the link it takes me to the log in screen but thanks for posting the pic up. I thought Charles Smith was not in the game...I must've misread the lineups for the Knicks....

I'm obviously biased but I can't wait to see this screen on my TV =-)
The '95 Magic were one of the funnest teams of the '90's with the inside/outside combo of Shaq and Penny while the Knicks were just plain ol school nasty, they defiantly represented the culture of New York at that time. I've never been close to being hyped for an NBA game and Oct. 4th can't come fast enough!

Def happy to see the 95 magic one of my favorite teams of all time. Big fan of penny here so it will be fun runnin with them.

Starks and O'Neal look weird, Penny is too old. Other players are very good.

big big fan of prime penny so im happy to play with him but this penny looks more like old phoenix penny than skinny prime penny imo

hard to get a good look at penny...hope thats his younger face

think 2k dropped the ball with penny. he looks too old and not thin....but im still excited

#1 Penny looks like old Penny not young penny
#2 Shaq has tattoos on his arm in that screenshot but as far as i can remember Shaq was tat free on the Magic, maybe he had the Superman tat but i thought he was tat free back then. Ok i found some pictures of him tat free (its 93-94 so maybe he got tatted up after that season) and one with 1 tat on the arm so maybe someone else can remember better than i can.

how could they drop the ball with penny...they should have known he was a fan favorite in his era...when jordan left for a year in a half he and grant hill were probably the two most exciting players...smh damn 2k ...but im not mad, im not mad ...im not going to freak out ...and i will still buy it release day...

You're right. 2K still used the old Phoenix Penny CF they used before. This is one of the reasons why I play 2K only on the PC because I'm able to replace the cyberface with a better one easily.

If you guys didn't notice..... IN ALL THE MATCH UP SCREEN SHOT, THE BODY AND POSE OF EACH AND EVERY PLAYER ARE THE SAME.... I don't think penny will look old or Shaq will have tats or have the same body type as Ewing in the game..... RELAX

You guys are killing me w/ the (PENNY LOOKS TOO OLD/HORACE GRANT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THAT/SHAQ LOOKS WEIRD) talk.

.....Charles Smith getting fouled by Jordan, Grant and Pippen still haunts me.... so does Sam Cassell spinning on the floor @ the Garden during the the Finals....

These whole "matchup" screens just look silly to me. I mean come on...every single one has the same pose in the same positions (ie: back person arms crossed), with only the faces/jerseys changing. 2k seriously couldn't mix it up a little at least?

I really want them to get Penny right. More than any other player in the game. I think I'm going to be disappointed. And yes Shaq DID have that Superman tattoo back then.

1) Penny looks old, not the young, thin one who played in 94-95
2) Starks and Shaq look weird (?)
= Starks, maybe but I think Shaq looks just fine imo.
3) Horace Grant dont look like him :google:
4) Shaq has the (Superman) tattoo
= Well yes. I guess its right. I think Shaq wears them first in the 1994-95 season/playoffs
5) Players have the same poses in matchup screens and "that" pose by its centers
= I agree and this just looks funny
6) SF is centered like he's the star player of that team :lol:


To me these are just minor problems but to some it might not be. If so what can 2K do about it now people?

I'm not a fan of that. They made 5 interesting poses, I figured it wouldn't be too tough to make 5 more. Even if they use the same set of 10 poses for every game, you'd think they could come up with 10 different poses right?

Penny looks too old, but it's too late to fix that now. I just hope he's been given a good sig treatment.

I noticed the body shape thing after you said something. I am pretty sure that they can and will fix that. or so i hope...

I've got to say these screenshots don't do the game justice. The faces of Starks, Ewing, Penny and Shaq look off to me and I agree with what others have said about the poses looking silly. Also the highest rated player on the team should be the most prominent one like they had in 2K11.
Although this isn't a big deal I find it odd that these line up screenshots look pretty ordinary while the graphics in other screenshots look so impressive. Maybe it's because these line up pics are lo res?

This will be my first game. I will be kicking arse and taking names with the Penny led Magic until the lockout is over. I will beat them with the Knicks just to get them and never touch the Knicks again. Uuugh
