Do retired players become coaches in next gen?
 

I only ask because i am currently playing madden 09 on the ps2 and i can't help but laugh at the coaching staff of some teams. Seahawks have randy moss as head coach, chad johnson as OC. Made me lolololol for ages.

Ha that is funny and yes they do become coaches but I don't think nearly as many.

Some will become coaches. They will specialize in their position.

IMO way too many of them retired players go on to become coaches, especially HC, this is ULTRA RARE in real life. Retired dudes usually go to college level or start as low end position coaches and then climb their way up.

I'd like to see more "unknown" coaches available, especially for HC vacancies, people that weren't nfl players but rather people that have been long time assistants and stuff.... real life examples... Raheem Morris, Zimmer, Fewell.....
