Yeah I have had that problem with some pictures as well. I would say for best results a good camera with good lighting would be the only solution I can think of

You have to go to 'Start' under the Edit Game Face option and click the Football icon.

I use a Canon. You take a front pic of your face, then a profile and the site does all the work and steps for you. It's pretty damn cool.

You don't need a certain kind, it's just the better the camera the better the results

I did my gameface weeks ago, using my iPod touch 4G camera and it came out very accurate. I am very happy with it.

I had a feeling the madden avatar thing would be up soon since it is only 2 weeks before release. I been already did mine. But I just added the football uniform, and I am happy with the results. It looks like me. The only thing is that since I have thin eyebrows, they came out greyish. But, I can deal with it.

Cant wait to upload it when I do my CCM

I had good results using my laptop's camera. The first couple of tries I just did the front shot, but adding in the side shot did wonders. Also, you can still go in and fine tune your face shape by making minor adjustments.

It's that way by default for now. You should have the option once the game is released, at least that is what I believe

Yea it's weird, they're pretty messed up. I'll probably mess with the lighting tomorrow.

Overall, I guess it kinda, mostly looks like me. (Besides the eyes of course) So as long as I dont get any close ups, I'd probably be fine using it.

Yeah lighting is usually overlooked when it comes to taking pictures and filming. Lighting is just as important. But yeah just remember that. Although it still comes out weird sometimes, like my brother had no eyebrows hahaha

Apparently I'm not the only one with the ****ed up eyes, but this GameFace is much much much more of an accurate depiction of me than previous versions.

Yeah the first gameface, I think it was for Fight Night 4? Might be wrong...but the first version of gameface was terrible. I didn't look remotely like myself.

Haven't changed my uploaded pics since then, and when I went on a couple of months back to have a nother go at gameface I was amazed how accurate it looks...exactly like me. With exactly the same pictures as previously.

Might update it sometime as the pictures are 5 years old...gotten married since then, in other words, picked up a couple of pounds ;D

I like how mine turned out. it looks as close to me as i could've imagined so even though its not an actual pic i can say i'd be content with that if i were actually in the NFL and in Madden.

Mine is pretty accurate. I'm happy with it. I have a very thin face though so I gotta tweak some things. It's pretty fun to mess with.

Mines came out okay. I took the pic with my iphone 4s camera. Not the best quality up close but its passable. For some reason my cyberface looks like Aaron Rodgers lol. I don't know if it's just me though. I look nothing like him in person.

I'm actually surprised how good some of these look. I mean I know I've not seen you guys in real life, but they look awesome. Much better than the old Fight Night and FIFA game faces!

I just used my same game face from FIFA, didnt have to do anything new. Thought Looman said that we would have to do a new one because Madden would use a different engine....?

Pretty happy with mine too. Much better than I could do on the generic Create-A-Player option on the game itself. Used my regular camera, got my wife to shoot a front and side pic. Just uploaded them that way.
