2. Am I saying he's a PG? No. His current 44 pass rating is severely underrated. He's been magnificent with his distribution since a few weeks back. He does initiate the offense a great deal. He's starting to pass... a lot and the CPU won't play that way unless he's given the "Point Forward" notion. Heck if I wanted to give him the correct play style it'd be "all around" however he wouldn't distribute with how it's coded now. 3. I don't deal in overalls. I want my Blazers to play as they do in real life at the moment. |

2. His turnovers come from bad passes, not handling the ball. 43 of them were bad passes, while only 21 were ball handling, roughly a 2:1 ratio, while the average point guard has roughly a 3:2 ratio, which shows that Batum does not pass the ball at a great clip because more of his passes are off their mark. 3. Overall should factor into your decision making process because it is crucial for Association mode, which I can only assume you do if you use edited rosters. |

2. Where's your source? 2:1 3:2 not much of a difference simply just the volume of pass attempts? Batum is yet again at it tonight even pulling "Rubios". 3. No, not really. A player playing as they play in real life is MUCH more important than a players cumulative overall rating. Also Batum is the ONLY player in the entire NBA in the top 40 of steals/assists/blocks/rebounds/points categories! Speaks to how well rounded he truly is. |

1. If a player can lockdown a team's top scoring option, than the team will score less points because their top scoring option will be inefficient. So if Batum was actually shutting down a top scoring option, than the points opposing teams were scoring would be less, not more. Players who are lockdown defenders make their team's defense better, not worse. 2. Stat gotten off of 82games.com The issue is that his turnovers are off of bad passes, not handling the ball. Point guards have good ball handling skills, so logically considerably more of their turnovers would come off of bad passes than ball handling mistakes. Batum with his lesser ball handling skills makes more bad passes compared to ball handling turnovers than the average point guard. Therefore, Batum is a considerably lesser passer because he has a higher ratio of bad passes to bad ball handling than the average point guard. Basically, this means that despite being an inferior ball handler, he still turns the ball over more by bad passes than bad ball handling, which equates to bad passing. Also, do not be so dismissive of the difference between 2:1 and 3:2. 2:1 is 33% worse, so a sizable difference. 3. I can see how we disagree here. I don't play online much, mostly association mode. I want young players to sim accurately, and I care considerably less how they perform when I control them. |

I completely agree with everything you said up there. The sig skill you might be referring to for Turner would be Break Starter . I thought of that before too but it seems pretty useless. I haven't seen anyone with that sig skill except Lamar Odom. lol. Plus, I think these players need a "Yes" in the Play Initiator part. Evan Turner Carmelo Anthony JJ Redick Andre Iguodala Manu Ginobili Kevin Durant Paul Pierce More signature skill suggestions: Jrue Holiday - Finisher Spencer Hawes - Spot Up Shooter (lol but looking like he deserves it lately.) Jared Sullinger - Scrapper Chris Paul - Lockdown Defender (I'd replace the Oop.) Greivis Vasquez - Dimer Anthony Davis - Hustle Points Derrick Favors - Bruiser |
