WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack Scheduled to Arrive on Tuesday, January 26
 

The WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, January 26 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It will include Samoa Joe, and tag teams Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) and Blake and Murphy.

The Future Stars pack is included with the WWE 2K16 Season Pass, for everyone else, it will cost $7.99.

Los Matadores are future stars? Hahahaha. They've been in the WWE for like a half decade and haven't done ****. Good one 2K.

Even though we were told ahead of time what was releasing in this pack, I gotta say other than Joe this is some pretty disappointing DLC.

Del Rio wasn't with the company at the time. Dash and Dawson weren't getting the push they are now and Enzo and Cass were an obvious choice. There really isn't any good reasoning why the Four Horsewomen weren't included though.

Joe isn't a "future star" JOE IS A STAR! Leave it to WWE to act like Joe is some young wwe rookie that has to work his way to the top... He dominated TNA and has beaten legends like Sting and Kurt Angle. He sticks out like a sore thumb, and is the only reason anyone would buy that rip off of content. 2k knewww exactly what they were doing.

Am I the only person around who could care less about the divas not being in the game. Personally I wish they'd take all of them off the game.

Agreed, Blake and Murphy are a fine add for an NXT team, Diego and Fernando are pretty much useless to me other than new moves they might come with, might job them out on Main Event in Universe. Joe should be fun though. I wish they would have just accepted the 4HW not being on disc and really worked to get them and maybe Alexa and/or Carmella in as DLC, now that would have been a spectacular DLC pack. Much better than this legends garbage they dish out.
Yeah I "could care less" about the divas. I love having them in the game, and I have about 15 women's CAWs downloaded, I would have very much loved to have Sasha, Bayley, Becky, and Charlotte in the game. Sasha is one of the best performers in the entire E, why wouldn't you want her in the game?

Repackaged once again eh? Or go back to being Primo and Epico again

It doesn't really matter. WWE clears who goes in the game. That's who they chose.

Or they set the DLC in advance, Joe was a late addition because he's a big name, and since 2K bundles DLC characters into packs this was the DLC pack he most easily fit into.

I'm excited about having Joe and Blake & Murphy in my Universe personally. As for Los Matadors I hope I can change their masks up or add something to give them a new look. Really wish they have real faces underneath and I can just take them off but I doubt that it going to be possible.

What console are you on? On next gen there's a glitch were you can remove everyone's mask even Sin Cara's and Kalisto's. Here's Kalisto's face on the game...

You do realize that WWE has final say as to who goes in the game right?

Also you do realize that they just can't put whoever they want in there. As far as legends go, if WWE doesn't have legends contracts anymore with people or aren't under some sort of contract they aren't going to be in the game.

They have plenty of happy customers as well. The games aren't legends games. They want to have the best more accurate current roster as well.

Because WWE makes the call. Since they needed "The One" Billy Gunn they probably didn't want them to have multiple versions of him in the game.

It's why they don't have Cody Rhodes separate from Stardust, which 2K actually had requested but WWE didn't want it.

I'm neither a legends guy nor a current roster guy. Recently I've been a legends guy but with NXT getting so big It's making me want them over legends, however I'm still waiting for a Legends of Wrestlemania Part 2

I think that Diego and Fernando should've and maybe Blake and Murphy since they were champs but Samoa Joe? No way, he came late and were lucky to have him period.

I'm way older than you but NXT rocks right now and I wish they had a more complete NXT roster personally.

As for older guys, like I said it's not 2K's call and there is a lot more too it than simply just putting guys in the game. Gotta remember that WWE has to probably pay everyone they approve to be in the game somehow.

Ugh, I was really hoping they'd do the Showcase DLC next. I need the classic Flair and Dustin Rhodes for my Universe.

I wish they didn't wait so long in between them but this allows me to bring guys into my Universe slowly. The Showcase one will be good as well but I'm still waiting to bring in some of the legends into my Universe as we speak, plus the 100 save spots.

It's cool that we get more wrestlers but I'm not going to use Los Matadores at all, I'd rather have El Torito available as my manager than Los Matadores. Heh

Man, I just want Alberto Del Rio to be available. I also just want Samoa Joe from this pack. Oh well lol

There's some Del Rio's on CC that are probably better than what they would have had in DLC anyways.

Del Rio wasn't under contract when rosters were finalized.

I agree that some of the Del Rio's on CC are pretty spot on.

Not in US store yet. Some random time tomorrow afternoon because we know how Sony is with updating the store. It's apparently up for Xbox and PSN Europe now though.
