A user asked in the old thread about a deal consisting of James Shields to the Blue Jays. I am also interested on what it would take to bring Shields to Toronto.

Probably a Pompey or Alford and a b level prospect.

Have decided for My Sox franchise that Tyson Ross is the target for me in 1st year. I'm thinking Jackie Bradley Jr/Rusney Castillo along with Joe Kelly and either two B level prospects or 1 A level prospect (Moancada, Devers, Benitendi, Espinosa) should get it done. Anyone have thoughts? Too much, too little? Thanks for any feedback

I don't think Shields is worthy of commanding a top 100 prospect.

I don't think it's to crazy. Shields is still very good. Maybe a little less because of the contract.

I'd say either would get it done. I think Ross could very well be dealt this year. Very underrated. Under team control. It'd be a good pickup.
