Last Ride - WWE 2K17 Universe Mode

Quote:

March 26th, 2001. Everything is right in the world, the WWF is in the lead of the ratings war, and have been. ECW is now merged into the WWF, and WCW is on its last legs trying to get to the finish line, where WWF has been now for the past few months. Tazz, RVD, Spike Dudley, Tommy Dreamer, and a few other Extreme Fighters have made the transition over to the WWF as everyone is awaiting who else the WWF decided to keep...if they did at all, and tonight is supposed to be one of the best Nitros of all-time according to reports. I am ready for this opening, let's get the show started.

What's this!? Vince McMahon has bought out WCW? The war is over, the war is over, and now WCW superstars will be merging into this WWF/ECW roster now, and whoever is deemed unworthy will be fired! What is going on in the world right now, wrestling has changed forever.

Hey guys! Welcome back to Bard's Last Ride, fitting title with The Undertaker retiring. I am calling this my Last Ride because I am basically giving myself one more chance, one final shot. This Universe is going to last past WWE 2K18 (unless huge additions are made, then which I will "transfer" this over.) Someone left my schedule leaving a huge gap in my days three days a week, and I believe with those gaps I will be able to put up some great content, so I am ready...how about you?

I am running this year of 2001 Universe simply because I have never done that before. There will be two shows, three rosters for this Universe. There will be the WWF and there will be New Japan Wrestling (NJW). WWF will have every WWF, ECW, WCW superstar that I have on the game, and NJW will have most of the current WWE stars on it crafting their skills. Now then, where does the third roster come in to play? Well, OVW is still a thing after all, and superstars like Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Randy Orton, and Batista are there right now.

With all that said, let us look at some rosters:

No news on WCW still. I will post the Judgement Day card here soon, it will have storylines, because it will not all the way resemble real life's.

Re: Last Ride - WWE 2K17 Universe Mode

Undercard:

Sunday Night Heat

Raven vs. R-Truth

Molly Holly & Dawn Marie vs. Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keibler

Main Card:

Intercontinental Championship Match:
Triple H (c) w/Stephanie McMahon vs. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle won a number one contender battle royal, and in a backstage moment he found Stephanie McMahon, and gave her a huge hug about his big moment. He was happy to be challenging for the IC title...Stephanie's husband's title...Triple would see them hugging, but what he couldn't see is Stephanie trying to get Kurt off of her, but an angry Triple H did not care and thus a feud was reborn.

William Regal vs. Rikishi
- Rikishi was out with an eardrum injury before returning in May. Foley persuaded Rikishi to turn back face and give Stephanie a Stinkface. Regal takes exception to this and challenges Rikishi to a match at Judgment Day.

Number One Contender Match for WWF Championship:
The Rock vs. Kane

Tag Team Championship Match:
Edge & Christian (c) vs. The Holly Cousins
- Crash said Edge and Christian are not real Canadians, but liars. Edge and Christian have zero idea what he is talking about, but in a tag team match Hardcore Holly pinned Christian to get this title match.

Women's Championship Match:
Lita (c) vs. Chyna
- After winning the belt at Wrestlemania, Chyna took it upon herself to deride the whole women's division by whining about a lack of competition. Lita then came out and challenged Chyna to a match at Judgment Day. In the build up, Chyna and Lita started tagging together with Chyna trying to toughen Lita up by refusing tags. Lita would challenge Chyna on the go-home on Raw 6 days ago, and won by a school-boy roll-up to become the Champion.

Hardcore Championship Match:
Gangrel (c) vs. Rhyno vs. RVD
- Rhyno and RVD are pissed off as to how ECW superstars have been portrayed since joining the WWF, and want the hardcore title in extreme hands.

European Championship Match - Submission:
Chris Benoit (c) vs. Chris Jericho
- The two men had been getting along, until Benoit won some gold. Jericho out of jealousy attacked Chris Benoit, stating they were never friends. Benoit then said he was willing to put the gold on the line in a submission match against Chris Jericho at Judgement Day.
WWF Championship Match - No Holds Barred:
Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. The Undertaker
- The main event at Judgment Day featured a No Holds Barred match, a match with no disqualifications nor countouts, in which Steve Austin defended the WWF Championship against The Undertaker. The buildup to the match began on the April 30 episode of Raw Is War, Austin retained the WWF Championship against Undertaker, though by disqualification after executing a low blow on Undertaker, thus resulting in the decision. In the following weeks, Undertaker attacked Austin, and at one point taking his vest and the WWF Championship. Around that time, The Undertaker, received a phone call stating that his wife, Sara, had been involved in a car accident. The Undertaker found out that everything was okay and that there had not been a car accident at all. The Undertaker began to hunt down whoever made the phone call. On the May 17 episode of SmackDown!, during Undertaker's match with Triple H, WWF Champion, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin appeared on the "Titantron" and admitted that he and Triple H were the ones who had made the phone call.

Looks good, can't wait to see where it goes, especially with guys like Cena/Batista/Orton in OVW still and current guys in NJW

They were in OVW at the time, so they get to start there. Obviously no NXT yet, so if someone signs from NJW they will likely end up there.
