Super Mega Baseball 2 Scheduled to Release in September - New Trailer
 

Metalhead Software has just released a new Super Mega Baseball 2 trailer, featuring a closer look at the stadiums, characters, and character animations in the game.

While no official release date has been given, Super Mega Baseball 2 is scheduled to release sometime in the month of September.

looks great, super psyched, bummed about the wait though. and releasing in September can't be the best idea for a indie sports game...

No kidding! The biggest month for releasing sports games! What the hell!

I would agree with Murph - releasing in Sept will probably hurt sales, but I do respect that they do not want to rush out a buggy product. An independent buggy release can be death for a game. I am incredibly excited for this game, and it will be a day one purchase for me - baseball on the PC? Sign me up! I am looking for more detail on franchise/career play.

Really excited about this until I saw the release date. Smack in the middle of football, basketball, hockey, and soccer game releases. Was hoping to have this to play to hold me over.

Like others, I'm pretty bummed by September release date. That being said, this game really isn't a timed release as far as rosters and other things go. So I'll have no issue in playing my regular fall sports games when they release and wait to get this until maybe late 2017 or early 2018.

I would almost rather them wait until Feb/March and release right before the sesosn.

september is "mid year"? If they don't release by July, they might as well wait until next spring.
