Yeah, looking back at that, that's pretty impressive. I'll be honest, I never even know it was that detailed. They really nailed that training mode.

I've always found that the people who spoke poorly of THQ Undisputed series were the ones that failed to fully explored what the games had to offer. It honestly blows away EA UFC in every aspect other than graphics.

It really does though.

It's seriously mind boggling how much better UD3 was in so many aspects than EA UFC 2.

Yes and to be honest if you didn't know about training mode and all the different aspects and reversal meter for instance, then you didn't really understand the fighting engine because there were many things going on "behind the scenes" that people would just assume weren't happening. Like the counters and one punch knockouts for example, you could SEE in training mode what was really happening, and take advantage of them in a fight. Compare this to EA UFC that just uses a "dice-roll". Then you have people saying its "the same thing" when it was totally different.

That's why Undisputed got such a bad rap; People didn't even understand or appreciate the complexity and balance of the fighting engine behind the scenes.

Underrated? Not around here, lol. I think I'm the only person here I've seen say negative things abouts it.

(I know dude is banned, but maybe he's lurking)

i have really bad things to say about this series... but tbh i think it was easier to fix ufc ud 3 than fix ea ufc 2... ud was in the right direction...

Damn, I never really messed with the training. Thought I was good enough to not need it lol. Awesome to think this game is about to get even better for me once I dive into the training.

Was the single player any good in UFC 3? I don't remember playing it at all. I might grab it soon.

All I play are tournaments and event mode. Advanced setting with simulation stamina.
