    Current NL Batting Leaders

    Batting Average (AVG)
    Player Team POS AVG
    1 A Pujols STL OF .384
    2 J Edmonds STL OF .382
    3 E Renteria STL SS .366
    4 G Sheffield ATL OF .353
    5 M Lieberthal PHI C .349

    what a site to see!

Renteria.. the 27 year old and my favorite player... I think is the most underrated player in the league. he is the Cards best all around player imo..

although Edmonds is up there too.. the dude is just terrific.. I been watching cards baseball all my life and never have seen any OUtfielder throw as many out as he has. lots of people say Jones is the best CF in the NL.. I think Edmonds is.. he may not be the fastest.. but he gets the best jump off the ball out of anyone. I'm not sure if he is considered a super star in other cities or not.. but think he should be. He's very good.

I consider him a great player, and one of my favorites. I've followed him through his whole career, and have been fascinated with his excellent fielding and explosive hitting.
