ASB: Hit and Run play

what's the deal with every time I hit and run, when the ball is put into play my runner starts heading back to first!?! I'm talking on balls that are sure basehits, and even worse DOUBLE PLAY BALLS, double plays that I should've stayed out of by starting the runner.
That's the biggest freakin' point of the hit n run, STAY OUT OF THE DP!!!
They've gotta do something about the baserunning

it happens to me sometimes but not often.....btw- how do you hit and run on all-star level?

Well, I try it quit a bit. Been burned alot lately though. I don't hit alot of long balls so I have to manufacture runs, get 'em on, get 'em over, get 'em in.
I mostly hit n run w/ Durham on and Alfonzo at the plate, or w/ Cruz jr on and Santiago at the plate.

I have had it happen a few times when I bunted with 2 guys on base. Doesn't happen all the time.
