dude, there are a ton of threads with this. you can search a few. however, what i found is you need to experiment. i played for a while and i constantly (about 10 days or so) update my settings because my ability improves. this game is designed to allow you to grow.
however for your assistance start with:
45 pitching ability/ 35 batting avg
50 batters eye balls and strikes
35 throws strikes and 90 steals.
try the various hitting cursor and pitch speeds till you find one comfortable to you.
as you play you will eventually bump these up.
in the options mode be sure to change the slider settings to"custom". play at least at the all star level. the ai is so much better there. -

The only "best" settings that I can agree to are "All Star"....he's right the AI seems smarter on All Star. And I set the AI stealing slider to a full 100%. Even on 100 they don't steal all that often, but often enough that you need to pay attention. I even had a guy steal 3rd on me last night!!! Caught me totally unaware.
Everything else you just really need to experiment with until it feels right.Steam: BahnzoComment
