Phillies have 8th overall pick. Most likely choosing a college pitcher.

Of course I'm anxious to see where local stars Brendan McKay, Drew Ellis, and Jordan Adell get drafted.

All I want is for the Sox to draft Alex Lange, but they won't.

Re: 6/12 - 6/25 Game Discussion Thread

Draft day is always fun and since the Jays have the off day today I can pay close attention to it. I love that the Blue Jays media does a pretty good job of covering what the team did on the draft. Unfortunately since this year the Jays were on the road we didn't get the normal interview with the head scout or GM as they usually do during the run up to the draft.

Anywho, I look forward to seeing how Shapiro and Atkins first REAL draft is like as last year they basically allowed Anthopoulos' people to drive the bus for the most part.

Marco Gonzales getting the start for the Cardinals tomorrow vs the Brewers. His first time pitching in the big leagues since 2015.

John Lackey can't stop won't stop giving up homers. Now 18 allowed so far. He's on pace to give up 46 homers for the entire season. Hopefully he is DFA'd or fixes the problem before then.
