It all boils down to personal preference in this multi-horse basketball gaming race. If you’re into a lightning fast game play that result in frenzied dunkfests then this game may not be for you. This game does the overall best job at encapsulating the environment of the real NBA and wraps it up into a neat little package. NBA 2K3 is the best simulation of videogame basketball bar none.
Couldn't have ended this review any better. Great job guys!!
Very nice review. I wish you had touched on a couple of other things though.
1. Street mode- no one talks about this. I think it's much improved over last year. There are weather options, more courts including some inside gyms and the scoring system is dead on. Never see a video game get this right. Interestingly enough the gameplay is very different too and is a much loser game that's just about fun. Last year I thought it was pointless, just outdoor bball, but this year it's great.
2. single vs multiplayer- there have been many discussion here about how single player has become too easy and other discussions about how Live is the ultimate multiplayer game while 2k3 isn't fun. Of course that's opinion but considering it would've been nice to get your takes on this.
3. new practice scrimmage mode- they allow you to learn the plays which can be pretty important and wasn't in last year's game.
Great review as is though. As always, you guys are very thorough. I just want to make sure you know longer is better if it's worth the read so don't change.

it was in last year's game...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...
Man thats nothing, another reviewer for Live 2003 said Marv Albert gets repetitive after a while. Damn, did he even play the game.
But you guys review was perfect. I t made some good points.
I agree with Minsta, you do have the best damn reviews for sport games, period.

If VC comes to OS to check out what the people want do they check out the forums, the reviews or both?
And does EA also come here for feedback?

Both.
Of course.
As well as other big sports gaming publishers.
