Def surprised me too.

The only that these tests don't factor in is quickness off your feet. So even if it's a no-step vert, the players can really get low and gather themselves to explode upwards, something you never really have the luxury of doing in a basketball game. You've got to get up there quickly in game situations.

Re: 2009 NBA Draft

It's a lot of rumors going around in DC about, us trading that number 5 pick for a Vet. Rumor has it.

5th pick,Jamison,James for Amare.

I would like to have Amare, but I would want to keep Jamison

Why? That deal sounds a lot better than Butler, Thomas and Young and the 5th pick(latest trade rumor now). I hope you don't think Jamison can run the 3. LOL

Yeah, he definately doesn't play explosive but he tested out better than anyone would have imagined. I love this time of year although I never understood why they measure people w/o shoes.

Well, if Thabeet pans out, it allows them to play Durant at the 4. In the games that I've seen, Durant is very effective at rebounding when he's at the 4. His 6'10 frame also gives them another better length to protect the rim.
What makes you think they would play him at 4 if Thabeet pans out? At 6'10 he's already a matchup problem for guards and small forwards because of his frame and size but you want sacrifice that just for the sake of having him grab a few extra rebounds and less points? Not to mention he would be matched up against dudes his size who would be able to push him around on the block and wouldn't have much of a mismatch like he has against guards and small forwards.

Good 2K idea but horrible real life Basketball idea IMO.

It could work given the right matchups. I only say this because I look at a team like Orlando. He'd be matched up on Shard at the 4 which wouldn't be terrible for him. Granted Shard is really playing out of position but I think you could get away with it at times. As a long term strategy, yeah it's bad and could get a coach fired.
