The funny this is when they started this Hack a Bowen the score was 52-44 spurs and now at the end of the half it is 66-57. So that strategy did not really do anything.

But the lead could be even BIGGER than what it is.

Its funny, they have both made 20 Free Throws but the Spurs have taken 30 and the Mavs 21....

don Nelson is the same coach that fouled Dennis Rodman every time down the court and fouled a guy out in like 2 mins it was some sort of a record.

i have to disagree..... this tactic got into the mind of Popovich and made him sit bowen (their best perimeter defender and best 3 point shooter) out of the last 8 minutes of the 4th quater. it was a GREAT idea to do it and in some ways it won the game for`em! because it gave them an easier time to get to the free throw line. with bowen in there they might not have gotten all those freebies they got down the stretch.

it was just good coaching by the entire dallas mavericks coaching staff.
