I don't think the things you pointed out would drop either from an A to a B. Durant wouldn't deserve an A by these standards.

I'd probably give both an A- or give Curry an A- and Kerr a B+. I don't dispute the things you mentioned, but Curry had one bad game and otherwise averaged 30 pts, 10 ast, 9 rebounds, 2+ steals. I don't want to ignore his bad game completely, but I think what he did in the 4 games they won (all they needed to win) should far outweigh that one bad game... especially since he still had 10 assists and 2 steals in the bad game.

I also give Curry credit for helping Durant play like an MVP. It's not like they just threw their 2nd best defender on Curry and called it a day. He garnered a ton of attention from the entire defense and took it all in stride.

I was actually okay with these... may have given Dray a B but based on how AB graded everyone else, a B- seems fine. Based on his ratings I may have even put Klay down a notch, but as "average" as his offense was, his defense was great and he did a lot of little things.

Without typing an essay, no way do Durant and LeBron not deserve an A+. When is the last time each teams best players have done that well in a finals series? One putting up 35 a night on very efficient numbers, the other nearly 34 on slightly less efficiency but averaging a damn triple double. That's some tough grading.

I graded everyone based on how well they fulfilled their duties. Obviously some guys bear a much heavier burden but that is the deal with all the great ones. If LeBron didn't miss that layup in the clutch in game 3 he would grade even higher.
