NFL2K4 developers/fans (must read)

I got to play my brother today in some Nfl2k3. He is a straight only Madden playing football dude so it was cool that he even played a game .

He pointed out some things that need to be addressed.
#1

#1 Stadiums do not reflect real life counterparts
(ie. pro Player Stadium)

#2 You cannot jump to try to deflect a punt, field goal, etc.

#3 When choosing plays we always have to look away to not see each others, great idea ti use the madden play calling stlye but instead of displaying only 3 plays you could expand them to 5.

#4 Graphics look wonderful, EXCEPT the field textures.

#5 No Play Challenging

#6 Helmets NEVER fly off of the players heads

Well that's all I can think of right now, but please put in these features so when I have 2K4 I can show my brother + all of the Madden fans that 2K4 is now the next big thing.

Thanks for reading & add whatever issues you feel could help out the Sega/Vc/ESPN franchise

Re: NFL2K4 developers/fans (must read)

1. In any of the reviews of 2K3 the stadiums were said to be the best out of all the football games out. So that means all the other games aren't right either.

2. The problem isn't jumping to deflect the ball. The problem is getting there in time to block it. I've been close a few times on field goals but I have blocked punts.

3.Try using the bluff mode. When you get to the play you want to run just hold the buton you use to choose the play with. While still holding the button down move around to other plays and when you let go of the button you will run the play you originally pushed the button on. Doesn't matter anyway because they have a hybrid of 2K and Madden play calling in ESPN NFL Football.

4. The field textures are fine. VC just make them go out of focus the farther away you get from them. Try watching a replay and zoom in on the field and you'll see what I mean.

5. They'll have it in ESPN NFL Football.

6. Who really cares about this? I know I don't. There's a small chance ESPN NFL Football may do this. If you look at the ESPN NFL Football movies you see players on the sideline without their helmets on.

Yeah you can jump to try to block punts, its either dive or jump (y)
The stadiums seem very realistic to me
Bluff mode works very well

There are no Diamond baseball feilds in any stadium in NFL2K3.

The bluff mode is cool, but doing that every down is annoying I'm glad they changed thier play calling system.

If you have or played WSB2k3 you will see the excellent feild textures & more, there is no reason that I feel this could not be placed into NFL2K4.

As for the helmets flying off, well yeah it's minor but you have to admit that having a replay saved with a helmet flying from a hard hit is definately a shocker.

On a side note this year will be a godd time for all football fans from Madden To 2K4 I just hope the competion stays at a boil so the actual gamers can benefit

Another thing that I just remebered is the invisible wall my brother stated when you tackle a player out of bounds.

There is no interaction with the first down markers , touch down markers, & refs on the sideline + the actual feild.

In Madden you can knock field referees over, sideline refs, & frist down markers .

Sega you can also incorporate these features, I do not know exactly your priority list but these features should be looked into as well
