    Should I Keep NFL 2K3?

Well, I thought I had a week to decide, but checked the Funcoland Receipt and it says "Video Games must be returned within 24 Hours With Receipt", which gives me less than 24 Hours to Decide.

I really don't know what to do, when I first popped in the disc and before I played the game I just took a tour and then in the first few minutes of the game I was like "Great I just spent $50 on Madden and I'll most likely not play it again"

Then I Played NFL 2K3, I have to push the buttons down hard, to me the control is horrible, is it VERY fast, and it doesn' t feel like I'm playing half the time.

In Franchise the stats are not realistic at all, I just simmed one season to see what it was like (BTW, I hate that if you put it on more or less than 5 minutes the stats are over or under exagerated, Sega should of went EA's way of simming) And the Highest Rated QB at the end of the season was Kurt Warner at 83, only 20 TD's, and now if you go to defense, there were 4 Players with Sack #'s higher than 18 (Willie Mcginest broke Strahan's Record)

I just don't know if I should keep it or not, with madden I'm not sure I'll play it much.

Ask yourself this question. Do I want to learn the system? Do I want to adjust the CPU simmed games to different quarter lengths so that they will get realistic stats? I admit it looks like they made a FEVER boo boo in the franchise with the quarter lenghth and stats, but set the simmed games at 5 min and looks really good to me. Should you keep it, that's on you.

If you dont think you'll play it then just get rid of it...

No point in keeping something that you wont pay much attention to in any case.

Re: Should I Keep NFL 2K3?

I face the same dilemma as the original poster, but I have more than 24 hours to return -- bought my copy of NFL 2K3 at EB.

NFL 2K3 plays a fine, fun game of football. But the controller response issue is a big problem, and it really hinders my enjoyment of this game.

I'm going to give it more play time tonight and see if my wrist adjusts to the pressure needed to push the buttons and see if my controllers survive the night, either from wear and tear or from my hurling them to the floor in disgust over the lack of response from input by the user.

        Take care,
