Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

I read about a stabbing at Candlestick yesterday between 9ner fans. Is that the same story?

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

The story says nothing about a stabbing. Must be a different incident.

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

It's so stupid. These usually aren't 'real' fans. They are in it because of how 'cool' the NFL has become. I refuse to go to a game just for this reason, I'd much rather enjoy the game in the comfort of my home than have to deal with a bunch of idiots who know absolutely nothing about the sport anyway.

No, the only bad thing that's ever happened to me is a guy fully passed out drunk from a standing position onto me, my dad, and a couple women in front of us. I've never seen an honest fistfight at a football game. I've seen some swearing/handbags, but it normally doesn't end in anything. Then again, I've only been to Lambeau, Soldier, and the Minneapolis Ashtray (probably 20-25 games total).

All my games in the NFC North Stadiums (Humptydome, Lambeau, Soldier, Silverdome and Ford Field) have always been a blast. Most of the other stadiums I went to were nice as well, the only place I had a problem was in DC in 2010 when the Pack played there. It was a one off drunk idiot though, there were more Packers fans than Skins fans anyways.

In the 50-60 games I've attended I've never seen any issues really. The rare chance it does happen though the press is all over it.

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

I've only been to one NFL game (Broncos/Chargers in SD) and I don't remember anything getting out of hand.

Seen multiple instances of unruly/dangerous behavior at Dodger Stadium, though. Staples too, a couple times. Nothing terribly major there.
