Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

I just became a fan of Arian Foster after seeing his press conference yesterday.

I know a lot of these guys have struggles coming up, but its always great to see a guy not afraid to show emotion.

It all depends on what you count as a bust. If a guy goes top 5 must he be an all pro? Superbowl champ? 30td qb? It depends on the context of your definition of a bust.

For example, imo Mark Sanchez is not a bust.
Sanchez should've been a project coming out of school early. Instead he hasn't had a consisten group of wideouts yet, and the neglect to the oline has caused his play and the running game to suffer. Meanwhile, he's been the QB of a team that's gone to back to back AFC championship games just a year ago. No reason to call him a bust.

I agree with this and let's not forget that the NYJ as a team seem to have some real issues in the locker room. That's bound to stunt a young QB's growth IMO.

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

I am not sure what type of statistical season Andrew Luck will have. Their top 2 WRs are going to be gone, run game isnt that good, and they have some needs at OL. Dalton and Newton benefited from having solid weapons to throw to and having a good run game(sometimes) to lean on.
I think Collie and Clark will be his main targets. They HAVE to get more weapons for him.

2 Broncos failed drug tests but apparently its like a Ryan Braun case with tampering. Ryan McBean and DJ Williams are taking it to court.

Edit- And now they're saying Virgil Green is suspended for 4 games for a failed test

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

I kinda hope the new rookie payscale rules will keep the QBs from mailing it in after landing such a massive deal without playing a down. I mean I know it's still big money, but at least now they'll have incentive to earn a major deal if they perform.

Also, Washington: wth?
