How does Seattle match up well with Denver? I'd say it's the other way around - their defense will not be able to cover everybody. Sure you have Sherman on Demarius, but Maxwell on Decker, Thurmond on Welker, and Wagner on JThomas? Come on now. Not to mention Denver's defense neutralized the run game today.

I believe it was also 65 degrees. It's not like it was freezing cold today.

But Seattle has depth. Those guys can play. Just because you don't really know who they are doesn't mean they can't do it.

Lynch > Blount.

1. You can be acclimated to bad weather and still perform worse than you usually do. Tom Brady has played his entire career in New England and his career passer rating is lower in December than it is in September, October, and November. Bad weather will disproportionately hurt teams that are more reliant on the passing game than teams that aren't. That's all I'm trying to say.

2. I'm just trying to predict how the point spread will go. They're very much influenced by public opinion since the betters are trying to get money on both sides and "Denver's offense will get hurt by the cold weather" meme will play into it.

Should be a hell of a Super Bowl. I don't mind either team, so it'll be an enjoyable one. I can't even eat when the Steelers get in

When Seattle has the nickel/dime package out on the field to cover Welker and Thomas with corners instead of linebackers, they're just going to hand the ball off to Moreno or expose those backups with their route running. Manning threw for 5477 yards for a reason. Those guys can play, but I'm doubtful that they can play at the same level the Broncos offense plays at.

That is correct, but the Patriots line is so much better than Seattle's line. Pot Roast Knighton and Denver's front 7 has been shutting down the run. I'd also give the nod to Denver's secondary over Seattle's receivers.

What's interesting about that, though, is the fact that in terms of percentages, the Hawks don't spend that much time in the Nickel/Dime. In fact, they are perfectly fine with leaving their two Pro Bowl safeties out on an island, if need be.

And as you saw today, it doesn't negatively affect them very often...
