Re: OFFICIAL 2013 MLS SEASON THREAD....

Any suggestions on a team to support? Never really been a fan of the MLS, but I'm giving it a try.

if you have a local team support them. If not, then keep watching and eventually a team will stick to you for one reason or another

Sounders? They seem to be a favorite for national broadcasts.

This time around, Major League Soccer supporters will have two weekends to consider purchasing the MLS Direct Kick television package.

The league announced via its official website on Wednesday that MLS Direct Kick will be offered free on March 2-3 and also March 9-10. The package is available on both DirecTV and Dish Network, and also on most American cable providers.
See link above for list of games available, along with further details...

For anyone looking to play catch up with the season here, the mlssoccer.com team previews are a pretty good place to start:

Wow, they are way more optimistic about TFC then I am. I don't think we'll win 10 games with this line-up but I expect there will be lots of changes.

Philadelphia looking good so far. Should be up 2-0 though. Sporting KC just doesn't look the same without Kamara and Espinoza. Also, Zusi looks really uncomfortable in that Right mid/wing role. Hopefully Klinsmann notices that and adjusts accordingly. If Donovans not on the team I feel the team would be best stacking the midfield with Jones, Zusi, and Bradley and having Dempsey be the link up between two strikers
