Yeah, it's hard to say anyone was a direct replacement of anyone tho. I would argue Bale's most productive year was the year he played alongside Di Maria. They for sure needed to being in Kroos for some balance.

Since Di Maria has left I would say Modric has stepped up the most. Looking back at that 2013-2014 roster though, it was pretty unfair having Di Maria, Alonso, Modric, Isco, Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema.

I still think the 2012-2013 Real Madrid squad is my all-time favorite tho.

Imagine if Bale and Modric decided to stay at Spurs, what an absolutely terrible decision that would have been.
