Fulham FC - OS Fans Unite - COYW!

FULHAM FC
Brian McBride got me watching this London Club years ago, then of course my favorite player of all-time, Clint Dempsey, joined not long after.

Fulham is still a good ground for American players, and while they're in the Championship right now, the club is on the UP. Regardless, this is my club.

Re: Fulham FC - OS Fans Unite - COYW!

Just a little bit under a year later, I'll put in another post.

Today's first match of the season is on ESPN3! We are playing Norwich City...

Kick off is set for 9 AM CST.

I'm interested to see how Oliver Norwood plays in place of Kevin McDonald. From seeing some video, he could be an interesting player to watch. McDonald kept things very simple for us last year, and was a work-horse. Hoping Norwood does the same, maybe a little touch of class here and there.

Not a good draw today. They definitely left a couple goals on the field and controlled a good portion of the game, but they clearly have enough talent to challenge for a promotion this campaign.

I felt the subs really took some steam out of their control, but they'll get in a rhythm moving forward. I'm glad I got to watch their first match on ESPN3.

Yes, not a good draw at all. It could've finished 5-3...let's be honest...Norwich should've scored in their attempts...that was poor.

This is how it was last year though. We play such sexy football, but we get into funks where we take chances for granted.

Oh well, it's the first match of the season. I think Norwood was a suitable backup to McDonald, but I still want K-Mac in there. Kebano had moments of brilliance then moments...of what I call..."Pantsil moments"...which just loses his head.

If you haven't already, join FFCTV. They have annual plans that will be announced next week, that will show LIVE matches. I can't wait already.

Always a soft spot for Fulhamerica.

Don't think any other English club comes close in terms of sheer number of American players they've fielded.

Nope, that's what had always drew me to the club. As you know I have a man crush on Deuce, but was a fan of Fulham's signing of McBride and Bocanegra back then.

They are improving the quality/functionality of the FulhamFC TV as well, so it's well aware of the international audience.

Our national team still hasn't recovered from losing Bocanegra and Cherundolo, those wonderful men.
