whats a really good rally racing game with real cars in it (not just made up ones) for ps2?????

Don't have a PS2, so I can't be too helpful.
But Colin McRae 3 has real cars (you can only race the Focus in career mode, though). I hear V-Rally 3 is about the only other game in town. -

Colin McRae 3 for ps2 is great. i got that last thursday and it has real cars and the real rally events. to bad it doesn't have the real drivers. like tcrouch said you can only use the Ford Focus in the career mode but you'll get past that. in Stages mode you get to use any car and race on any stage you have won in the rally's. i'd give it a 8/10 for a ranking. it lost 2 points for not allowing you use any car in career mode and not having real drivers.Teams:

MLB - Brewers & Twins
NCAA Football - Wisconsin, LSU, Virginia Tech
Soccer - Arsenal, Wolverhampton

i dont really like the idea of having to use the SAME car everytime but i saw some screenshots of it and it looks pretty nice - how long is the championship mode??? and what is the stages mode like?? thanks

CMR 3 is a flat-out sim. No head-to-head racing. V-Rally 3 and Rally Fusion are more relaxed but not as realistic. But they do offer head-to-head racing, which isn't really rallying. It's rallycross. Fun, though.
There's always the rally mode of Gran Turismo 3, which isn't half-bad, either.

You should wait for WRC2:Extreme which I have heard is going to be released in the US later this year.
It is the licenced WRC game which features the 2002 teams/cars/events.
I have it hear in New Zealand (PAL) & it is fantastic.Comment
